I wonder if shipping between US and Canada causes extra trouble/expense or is just like domestic shipping.

Extra expense - 100%.  Extra trouble? Only this year.  We’ve had postal strikes.

If you use USPS and Canada Post is pretty simple, because they interface at the border well. But the border crossing does add extra time. And then any duty fees in addition.

mine went wrong and i fell out of the bucket

either coz i dun it wrong or coz something went wrong

so really things went about as well as expected for me :p

Most of the time they just slap $5 brokerage and taxes. And a lot of packages get through for nothing.
